Giggling Badger Comedy Clubs are the father and son team of Bob and Jim Smallman. Bob has been a successful businessman and comedy fan for years, while Jim is an award winning professional comedian who has performed all over the UK and beyond, with trips to Los Angeles and Singapore under his belt in 2010 alone. They bring a special perspective to organising a comedy night - the correct mix of business acumen, industry awareness and comedy contacts to ensure that every night they are involved in ends as a success.
In tight financial times the comedy industry is still thriving with the public desperate to get more value for money for their night out. Running a comedy night at your venue will attract new customers, generate a significant amount of extra income through ticket sales and drinks sales and potentially give you a busy night in your establishment when you might not previously have had one.
We can tailor a night to your budget and ensure that you aren't lumbered with sub-standard comics - we don't book inexperienced comedians or "open spots" and can attract excellent acts through our large black book of contacts. Jim works every night of the week at clubs around the UK so always has his ear to the ground for the latest talent.
Acts that have performed at our clubs in the past include Russell Howard, Jason Manford, Sarah Millican, Greg Davies, Gary Delaney, Robin Ince and Ninia Benjamin.
